The main school entrance is now closed to traffic. Vehicle access to the school grounds is restricted the rear entrance only. This allows teachers and other staff easier access at busy times.
The layby and one way system added to the from of the school, allows parents to drop off their children away from the busy road. There is room for several vehicles including buses and mini buses, and the more regimented flow of traffic improves saftey to pupils.
New road markings have been added to ensure drivers are aware that the new slip road is a one way only.
