Difficult Reversing: Notes

Difficult Reversing, UnSafe Site

Parking Prohibited

The no parking regime requires constant monitoring and the management team are currently looking into fines and clamping as a way of discouraging parking by staff and members of the public.

Improved waste management

A dedicated area for the location of skips and bins has been added. Regular collections have been introduced to keep the area clear of rubbish. Careful monitoring by the management team ensures the site maintains its good order.

Pedestrian barriers

Barriers outside the doorways have been installed to help segregate pedestrians from moving vehicles. As well as acting as a physical barrier, their high visibility warn drivers that pedestrians may be emerging at these points.

Walkways highlighted

Pedestrian walkways have been added as well as a marked crossing area, their high visibility makes drivers aware that pedestrians are likely to be in the area.

Bollards added

Bollards have been added around the loading bay areas to help prevent reversing vehicles entering the walkways. Their high visibility also helps to indicate to drivers the location of the pedestrian walkway.
